He could have arrived as a fully-grown man on Monday and been on a cross by Friday. But the Son of God was also the Son of Man. He had a purposeful design in mind. He would come and be born the way we were born. He would grow up the way we grew up. He would face temptations and tests in the same way we do. He would cultivate followers whom he called friends and get them ready to live their lives the way he lived his.
He wanted to be known as the Son of Man. That's because he not only wanted to identify with us; he wanted to identify as one of us. In his flesh, he wanted to show us what God is really like.
This book will open up the Scriptures so that you can see the heart of the Son of Man as he made disciples. It will focus on several Son of Man statements that reveal The Values of Jesus. This study will help you discover that these values were not only the values of Jesus while he was on earth. They are the eternal, ever-existent values of God put on display on earth for all to see.
